Important Information About Procedures for Conducting Transactions
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law may require us to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who conducts a transaction involving the sale or exchange of virtual currencies.
What this means for you
When you conduct a transaction with us, we may ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you (including your Social Security number for transactions above $2,900). We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents.
Summary of Fees
All of our machines charge fees according to the following schedule:
Bitcoin Purchases $1-$2,999: 19.99% (+$5)
Bitcoin Purchases $3,000-$5,999: 18.99% (+$5)
Bitcoin Purchases $6,000-$9,999: 17.99%
Bitcoin Purchases $10,000-$15,000: 16.99%
Bitcoin Sales (Cash Withdrawals): 10%

HODL ATM, LLC respects and understands that your privacy is important. We are committed to protecting the confidentiality of information about you. Under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley (GLB) Act, institutions must notify consumers about the information we collect, why we collect it, what we do with it, and how we protect your privacy.
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We obtain non-public personal information about you through our business processes and the information that you provide at the kiosk. This information can include name, address, date of birth, phone number, social security number, account number and bitcoin wallet ownership information. While this list is not exhaustive, it gives you an idea of the types of personal information we collect.
WHY WE COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION AND WHO WE SHARE IT WITH
We use this information to process your transactions and to comply with federal and state regulations on virtual currency exchangers. We do not sell or share your personal information—such as phone numbers or email addresses—with unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We may share your personal information with:
Service providers under contract who help with parts of our business operations such as fraud prevention, bill collection, marketing, and technology services. Our contracts dictate that these service providers only use your information in connection with the services they perform for us and not for their own benefit; Third party identity verification services in order to prevent fraud. This allows HODL ATM, LLC to confirm your identity by comparing the information you provide us to public records and other third-party databases. These service providers may create derivative data based on your personal information that can then be used by the service providers solely in connection with provision of identity verification and fraud prevention services; Financial institutions with which we partner; Companies or other entities that we plan to merge with or be acquired by. Should such a combination occur, we will require that the new combined entity follow this Privacy Policy with respect to your personal information. You will receive prior notice of any change in applicable policy; Companies or other entities that purchase HODL ATM, LLC assets pursuant to a court-approved sale under U.S. Bankruptcy law; Law enforcement, government officials, or other third parties when: We are compelled to do so by a subpoena, court order, or similar legal procedure, or we believe in good faith that the disclosure of personal information is necessary to prevent harm or financial loss, to report suspected illegal activity or to investigate violations of our User Agreement; and Other third parties with your consent or direction to do so.
When third parties receive access to your information, we require them to follow applicable privacy laws and hold them to the same standards for sharing and disclosing information.
SAFEGUARDING INFORMATION
Only those persons who require access to non-public personal information to perform their job or contractual responsibilities are authorized to access that information. We also maintain physical, electronic, and procedural security measures to safeguard individually identifiable nonpublic personal information in our possession.
YOUR RIGHT TO OPT-OUT OF THIRD-PARTY DISCLOSURES
If you prefer that we not disclose nonpublic information about you to nonaffiliated third parties, you may opt out of those disclosures, and direct us not to make those disclosures (other than disclosures permitted by law).
